Freddie Smithson has over 30 years of experience working in capital markets. Mr. Smithson started his career working for JP Morgan, specializing in bond issuance and financial risk management utilizing derivatives. He worked for BNP Paribas in a similar capacity. He was the CFO of Astor Financial, LLC and helped manage its $50 million hedge fund. He managed a tax lien portfolio. He worked with Blue Sky Capital Strategies advising clients on capital structure advisory, lease management, and investment banking. Freddie has an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business, a BBA from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. He has been a guest lecturer at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Freddie is a CFA, CPA in the State of Illinois, and a member of the CFA Society of South Florida, Turnaround Management Association & Restructuring Advisors, and American Bankruptcy Institute. He serves on the board of directors of the CFA Society of South Florida. Freddie is a CFA and a registered CPA in the State of Illinois
