Lone Star Markets & Federal Receiverships:
Regulatory Shifts & Emergency Case Law

Wednesday, September 16, 2026 | 5:30 – 9:00 PM | The Joule

Join us for a split-panel discussion on the changes shaping Texas markets and federal receivership law.

Panel 1: Texas Market & Regulatory Update
The session opens with an update on the Texas Stock Exchange, including what to expect, projected timing, competition, and oversight. Cristi Ochoa, Deputy Securities Commissioner with the Texas State Securities Board, will share her perspective on how the exchange is developing from a business standpoint and what it means for the broader Texas market. Chris Davis will join the conversation with a regulatory perspective, covering compliance considerations and key risk warnings.

Panel 2: Receivership Case Law & Enforcement Update
The conversation continues with three SEC experts, Kit Addleman, Rebecca Fike, and Dee Raibourn. They'll cover current Fifth Circuit receiverships, recent case law updates, and front-line experience on enforcement priorities.
