 The Huddle will be moderated by Eileen Dunbar and presented by Nicholas Sanchez, Co-Chairs of the NAFER Tax and Compliance Committee. Mr. Sanchez has over two decades of consulting and compliance experience related to Qualified Settlement Funds and serves as the Tax Administrator for the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Sarbanes-Oxley Fair Funds. The Huddle will provide receivers, their counsel, and other stakeholders with a detailed understanding of Qualified Settlement Funds, including how they arise in the context of receiverships, resulting compliance obligations, interplay with entities in receivership, special valuation issues, and tax planning opportunities.
