Financial Law Group represents fiduciaries and creditors in insolvency and bankruptcy related matters primarily in the Southern District of California, or elsewhere as special counsel. The firm has 3 attorneys – Leslie T. Gladstone, a court appointed fiduciary and insolvency attorney, Christin Batt, who specializes in representation of fiduciaries and Derek Soinski, who specializes in commercial litigation and fiduciary representation.
Leslie T. Gladstone is a Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 bankruptcy trustee and also works as a receiver, liquidating trustee, expert witness, disbursing agent, assignee in assignments for benefit of creditors, trustee counsel and consultant in matters involving insolvency. She has been appointed in various state and federal courts throughout California since 1998 and has represented fiduciaries since 1989. She has handled well over 25,000 fiduciary cases and has operated multiple businesses, handled assets in manufacturing, real estate, retail and professional businesses. Leslie is the current president of the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees and has served on the San Diego Receivers Forum, the San Diego Bankruptcy Forum and the Women’s Insolvency Network. She maintains a law practice with Christin Batt and Derek Soinski in the representation of trustees and creditors, and more generally, in the practice of financial and insolvency law.
