CLE
NABT has applied for 5 hours of CLE in applicable states. To meet the requirements of several states, there will be questions displayed at intervals during the webinar to confirm your attendance. Use of the free Zoom APP is required to answer these questions.
CPE
National Association of Federal Equity Receivers is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.nasbaregistry.org.
6.0 Total CPE credits available in the field of study: Specialized Knowledge. CPE credits are based on a 50-minute hour.

Foundational Knowledge of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code.
No advanced preparation is needed for the conference.

- Apply the differences between a force-majeure defense and the common-law / statutory defenses in your restaurant-related cases.
- Identify situations when a Subchapter V bankruptcy may provide opportunities for a small business restaurant.
- Identify how business interruption insurance can serve as a source of assets in a Chapter 7 case.
DELIVERY METHOD
Group Internet Based using the Zoom Webinar platform.
Although phone numbers are also provided for those that do not have audio, the Zoom APP is needed to answer Poll questions which are a requirement to receive CLE/CPE credits. The Zoom APP is free of charge and you do not have to create an account to use
it.
PAYMENT POLICY
NAFER Members: Due to this program being offered free of charge, there will be no refunds issued.
Non-Members: Payment must be received in full before the webinar. Payment can be made by credit card online or by check.
We will send you a Zoom invitation link prior to the webinar.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
Cancellation and refund requests must be made online according to the following schedule:
Before October 5, 2020: 100% Registration Fee
After October 5‚ 2020: No refund available
